Playboi Carti Spotted In Studio With Camila Cabello As Album Rollout Continues

Playboi Carti has had the music community on fire over the last few weeks as he prepares to drop his forthcoming album in 2024. The 27-year-old enigma was recently spotted in the studio with Camila Cabello.

This past weekend, the Whole Lotta Red artist posted a picture of the two in the studio with the caption “Baby Girl.” They can be seen embracing one another while Carti wears a pair of shades and Cabello sports a big smile.

DJ Akademiks reposted the photo and one fan commented: “So f**kin random but Ik this sh*t gon be fire some how!”

Playboi Carti is preparing to make a big splash in 2024. It began with him posting a graphic reading “I Am Music” on his social media. Soon after, he shared a new record titled “Ur The Moon” on his Instagram. This past Friday (Dec. 15), he followed that up with “2024” as a YouTube release. The track was produced by Kanye West, Ojivolta, and Earl On The Beat.

Carti’s forthcoming untitled project will be his first LP since the Christmas 2020 release Whole Lotta Red. The 24-song album featured Ye, Future, and Kid Cudi. WLR debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 100,000 album-equivalent units. The LP was certified Gold by the RIAA in January 2022.

In the interim, he has appeared on a few features throughout the years, namely “Fe!n” from Travis Scott’s July album Utopia, The Weeknd’s “Popular” from The Idol soundtrack, and “Miss The Rage” from Trippie Redd’s 2021 album Trip At Knight. Watch the “2024” video below.
