A plaque was placed on the railing of Buckingham Palace in London, England, following the announcement of the death of Prince Philip on April 9.
A statement on the Royal Family’s website said: “It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.”
