Plans announced for inaugural Celebrate Saint Louis July 4th Festival

ST. LOUIS – Downtown St. Louis is preparing for a big celebration this Independence Day. Coming this summer is the inaugural Celebrate Saint Louis July 4th Festival.

Organizers officially announced plans for the festival on Monday, touting the event as “America’s most festive birthday party.” A parade, live music and fireworks around the Gateway Arch are all part of the plans.

Attractions for the Celebrate Saint Louis July 4th Festival will include the following:

  • America’s Birthday Parade (From Market Street to the Gateway Arch)

  • Fireworks Spectacular

  • Live music under the Arch (Performers including FEEL, Lupe Fiasco, LOCASH, and The Urge)

  • An airshow with a pilot from the film Top Gun: Maverick

  • Eads Bridge 150th Anniversary Celebration

  • Food and beverage vendors

  • Salute the Troops and Folds of Honor

Most festivities, aside from the parade, will be held on or near the Arch grounds. Everything will take place on Independence Day.
