 Sunday at the 2023 Greek Festival of Melbourne at Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church at 5965 N. Wickham Road. The 51st annual event ran from February 24-26, and included folk dances from various age groups, live music, market vendors, and a wide selection of Greek food.

Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 5965 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, will host its 52nd annual Greek Festival on Friday through Sunday, Feb. 23-25. It will take place from 4 to 10 p.m. Friday, noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. The festival will celebrate Greek culture with food, beverages, dancing, music and more. Black Box Blackout presents the play "The Meeting" by Jeff Stetson, directed by Eric Diaz, at Funky Dog Improv, 587 W. Eau Gallie Blvd., Melbourne, on Friday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m, Saturday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 25 at 1 and 7 p.m. The play depicts an imagined meeting between two iconic figures, Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Their philosophies differ, but they share a deep respect for each other and an intense passion for justice. Family Promise of Brevard hosts the Emerald City 5K at 6 p.m., Friday, Feb. 23, at Church at Viera, 9005 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne. Both in-person and virtual event registrations are available. Proceeds will support Family Promise of Brevard’s services to provide families experiencing homelessness the resources they need to put them on a path towards long-term housing stability. Contemporary jazz group Spyro Gyra brings their 50th Anniversary tour to the King Center, 3865 N. 5. Art Martin: Rock & Roll Revue in Cocoa Village

Green Gables, 1501 S. Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne, will host an open house on Saturday, Feb. 24from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The historic home is a living history museum showcasing life in the early years of Melbourne.
