Space Coast Symphony Orchestra celebrates its 15th anniversary with a gala concert at The Scott Center at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, 5625 Holy Trinity Drive, Melbourne, on Saturday, May 25, at 7 p.m. The program features works by Tchaikovsky, Marquez and Marshall, along with a world premiere from SCSO favorite, Kevin Wilt. A second concert will take place at Vero Beach High School, 1707 16th Street, on Sunday, May 26 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door or free for ages 18 and younger or with a college ID. 3. Cars Under the Stars movie: ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’

4. Food Truck Friday in Rockledge

5. Temari Ball workshop on Merritt Island

Learn to make Temari Balls at the next meeting of the Space Coast Weavers & Fiber Artists at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 25, at Merritt Island Public Library, 1195 N. Courtenay Parkway. Temari, which means handball, is a Chinese craft introduced to Japan in the 7th century. Today, they are used as decorative pieces, Christmas ornaments, and jewelry. Members will bring examples of completed Temari balls and explain what materials and patterns they used to complete their ball. Meetings are free and open to the public. Call 321-266-1610.

7. NKF Bicycle Bar Tour from Port Canaveral to Cocoa Beach

Madhatter Promotions will host the annual NKF Bicycle Bar Tour of Hope from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Saturday, May 25, to support the National Kidney Foundation of Florida. You will enjoy a drink at each of eight stops, but you will burn off those extra calories on the 9.5-mile bike tour from Cape Canaveral to Cocoa Beach. Tickets are $25 each in advance or $35 at the event.
