Pizza Hut's 'Reverse Delivery' doormat is available now

Thank your delivery drivers with even more than a tip this holiday season.

This week, Pizza Hut is giving customers a “reverse delivery” doormat that gives delivery drivers a free box of pizza when they drop off an order.

The mat, which is available for free online from Dec. 6 through Dec. 10, has a QR code for delivery drivers that when scanned leads to shopatpizzahut.com. Here, any delivery driver can redeem a gift card code from Pizza Hut and snag a free pizza. Delivery drivers are eligible for one gift card and can scan the code to grab the freebie through Dec. 27.

The doormat deal is meant to thank delivery drivers during the busy holiday season, a time when they “work countless hours to spread joy to families across the country,” according to the release from Pizza Hut.

Other days of the week have patterns of discounts, like every Wednesday has $3 Whoppers, every Sunday has a $0 delivery fee with a $5 purchase and more. Reward members can access the daily deals through the Burger King app.

BK isn’t the only fast food spot handing out weekly free food items. McDonald’s is giving away an order of free fries every Friday until the new year.

McDonald’s fans who are opted into its rewards program can visit the chain’s app to redeem the offer. To grab the deal all customers need to do is make a $1 purchase.
