Pizza Hut Will Deliver ‘Goodbye Pies’ with a Break-Up Message for Valentine's Day

Customers can order hot honey pizza from Pizza Hut to be delivered to your soon-to-be-ex

It's over, but at least you have pizza.

Starting Feb. 6, customers can order “Goodbye Pies” from Pizza Hut to be delivered to your soon-to-be ex. The limited-edition pizza has hot honey on top and is packaged in a custom box with a broken pizza heart illustration and a spot to write in their names.

From Feb. 6 to Feb. 14, heartbreakers can submit for a chance to send a hot honey “Goodbye Pie” to their significant others at GoodbyePies.com. The deal is only available at locations in New York City, Chicago and Miami. But not-so-love-birds in other parts of the country can still get in on the action. Outside of those three cities, fans can request a link to a Pizza Hut gift card for their future-ex to redeem a hot honey pizza.

Plus, Pizza Hut has an excuse generator for anyone looking for a clever break-up reason. The comical excuses range from lines like, "I’m the heir to a throne of a faraway land and I must go save my kingdom from impending evil" or "You ate all my cheese sticks and didn’t offer to replace them."

The habanero-infused honey is a new and limited-time addition to Pizza Hut’s menu. For the hot honey pizza ($12) the double pepperoni pie gets a drizzle of chili pepper honey. Hot honey wings ($6) are also available in bone-in or boneless six-counts.

Other fast food restaurants are feeling the love this Valentine’s Day with special holiday items.

Popeyes’s is offering limited-edition, heart-shaped strawberry biscuits from Feb. 5 to Feb. 25. The special holiday item puts a fruity spin on the fried chicken restaurant’s signature buttery biscuits by adding strawberry bits and a drizzle of creamy icing.

Krispy Kreme is also serving up heart-shaped treats with four new heart-shaped (and cream-filled!) donuts. A red sprinkled donut, “You Color My World,” is filled with cake batter Kreme filling, and a pink, sugar-covered “You’re Berry Sweet” donut is filled with classic white filling and dipped in strawberry icing and sprinkles.

The chocolate-filled and chocolate-iced “I Love You A Choco-Lot” comes with an adorable rose piped on top. Also available is the “Without You I’d Crumble” donut, which comes with cookie dough Kreme filling, and is topped with chocolate icing and chocolate chip cookie crumble.
