Pixar's 'Coco' plays a bittersweet symphony in latest trailer

In retrospect, it's kinda surprising that Pixar doesn't employ the song "Bittersweet Symphony" more often in their trailers. That two-word title sums up most of their movies so well.

But it's particularly apt for Coco, a new adventure about a young boy, Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez), who just wants to become a musician, like his great-great grandfather before him.

Unfortunately, music has been banned in his family for generations, for reasons that aren't entirely clear. Then one day, Miguel finds himself in the Land of the Dead. With the help of some kindly dead relatives, he sets out to learn the truth about his family's past.

The journey that results looks eye-poppingly colorful and irresistibly adorable — and knowing Pixar, it's probably gonna hit you right in the feels.

Coco hits theaters November 22.
