Pittsburgh Gallery Crawl to pay tribute to Beaver County artist Elizabeth Asche Douglas

PITTSBURGH ― The quarterly Gallery Crawl on Friday in the Pittsburgh Cultural District will include a tribute to the late Elizabeth Asche Douglas.

An exhibition at 707 Penn Gallery on Penn Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh will highlight an acrylic work by Douglas, an award-winning artist, jazz singer and trailblazing teacher from Rochester Township who died last week at the age of 92.

Elizabeth Asche Douglas' "Water and Spirit," a 1978 acrylic on canvas work, will appear at the next Pittsburgh Gallery Crawl in the city's Cultural District.
