‘Pitch’ Casts Ryan Dorsey & Jeff Torres As Recurring

Ryan Dorsey and Jeff Torres have booked recurring roles on Fox’s Pitch, Dan Fogelman’s baseball drama series.

Written by Fogelman and Rick Singer and directed by Paris Barclay, Pitch follows Ginny (Kylie Bunbury), a young female pitcher who defies the odds when she becomes the first woman to play in the major leagues.

Dorsey will play Tommy Miller. Worried about his career and future with the team, he’s the first player to speak out negatively against Ginny, revealing his misogynistic side. Torres will portray Stubbs, one of Ginny Baker’s teammates on the Padres.

Ryan co-starred opposite Mel Gibson and Diego Luna in the 2016 thriller film Blood Father and completed a successful run in the last season of FX’s Justified. He also guested on Animal Kingdom, Crowded and recently Night Shift. Dorsey is repped by Defining Artists and Management 360.

Torres performed in this year’s NBC Diversity Showcase. He also has guest-starred on Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. He is repped by Patino Management and Coast To Coast.
