Pippa Middleton reached for one of Kate Middleton’s staple labels for a glam night out for a longtime cause.

On Wednesday, the Princess of Wales’ younger sister attended the Heart Hero Awards at Glaziers Hall. The British Heart Foundation holds the annual celebration to recognize the fundraisers, advocates, healthcare professionals and supporters who go above and beyond, and Pippa, 40, has served as an ambassador for the research charity since 2014.

Pippa festively dressed for the event in Christmas colors. Princess Kate’s sibling wore a green lace midi dress by Self-Portrait and completed the look with a red clutch and heels. The Princess of Wales, 41, is also a fan of the British brand and sported a tennis ball green dress by Self-Portrait to Wimbledon over the summer.

Pippa stepped out solo for the Heart Hero Awards, which marked her first major public appearance since the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla in May. She attended the historic event at Westminster Abbey with her parents Carole Middleton and Michael Middleton, and younger brother James Middleton.

Just like her sister, Pippa is a mom of three and shares son Arthur, 5, and daughters Grace, 2, and Rose, 1, with her husband James Matthews. The couple tied the knot in 2017 and keep a low profile. During their engagement, a source told PEOPLE that Pippa and James shared a "deep desire" to disappear from the spotlight in the longer term and looked forward to "having children and leading a quiet life."

Pippa and James often join members of the royal family at special events like royal weddings and are spotted in the stands of the Wimbledon tennis championships most summers. Pippa has also supported the British Heart Foundation at previous balls and participated in the 3,000-mile Race Across America bike challenge with her brother in 2014. The Middleton siblings’ team fundraised for the British Heart Foundation and the Michael Matthews Foundation, established in honor of Pippa’s late brother-in-law, who died while scaling Mount Everest in 1999 at age 22.

When the British Heart Foundation announced her ambassadorship in 2014, Pippa spoke about how she hoped to raise awareness around the importance of heart health for women and shine a light on heart disease prevention through physical activity and healthy eating.

“I was shocked to learn that nearly three times more women die from coronary heart disease than breast cancer. I’m passionate about raising awareness amongst women of this killer disease and I look forward to working with the BHF to highlight to women the risks of heart disease and importantly, how they can reduce them,” she said in a statement at the time.

In 2016, she wrote the healthy recipe book Heartfelt with the British Heart Foundation, with 100% of proceeds going towards the cause.

Pippa might step out again on Friday to support Princess Kate at the third annual Together At Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey, as she has for the last two years.

The Princess of Wales spearheaded and hosted the first Royal Carols: Together At Christmas concert in December 2021 to pay tribute to the incredible work of individuals and organizations across the U.K. who supported their communities through the COVID pandemic. She has continued tradition and held the event ever since — though the theme has slightly shifted! Last year’s event honored Queen Elizabeth following her death in September 2022, and this year’s concert spotlights Kate’s landmark Shaping Us campaign from The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.
