Pink’s Daughter Places Third in First Motocross Race — as Proud Dad Carey Hart Beams

Pink’s daughter may grow up to be a rock star like Mom, but right now, she’s more interested in following in dad Carey Hart’s footsteps.

The singer’s 5-year-old daughter, Willow, competed in her first bike race over the weekend and took third place. As the tot climbed the podium at the Santa Maria, Calif., BMX track, nobody was happier than her retired motocross-racer father.

Pink posted a photo of Hart beaming as he stood next to the fearless young rider, who was rocking some pink gear (maybe a nod to Mom?). The “Just Like Fire” songstress wrote, “Willow’s first race. I like her intensity. She reminds me of someone,” and added, “This might have been Carey Hart’s Best Day Ever.”

Carey shared a photo of Willow accepting her trophy. He congratulated “Willz” for getting “on the box.” Hart gushed, “I’m such a proud papa. The cycle resets its self. I had a blast watching my little girl enjoy what I did for so many years. Thank you Willow for the amazing feeling. I love you.”

He also posted a photo of the little blonde looking like the ultimate cool rider. Yes, again, she is 5. (Can we be like her when we grow up?)

Willow is the only child of Pink and Hart, who tied the knot in 2006. The singer talked about her squad earlier this year, saying they are everything to her.

“I love being a mama,” she told Good Morning America in May. “I made a choice a long time ago that I was going to have a successful family, and that is my absolute number one goal in life.”

As for whether she and Hart will have another child, she added with a laugh, “I feel like I have two kids right now. I would like a third. No, I want to say that Carey Hart’s an awesome husband and a really good dad, but he’s also like a second child.”

Well, today Carey Hart is a proud second child.
