Pink Talks Aging, 'My Talent and My Individuality is Far More Important Than My Face'

Singer Pink told Twitter fans Sunday she won't be joining the list of celebrities with botched plastic surgery anytime soon.

Among her series of tweets, she wrote, "Continued note to self: Every once in awhile you consider altering your face, and then you watch a show where you want to see what the person is feeling...and their face doesn't move. I'm cannot get behind it. I just can't."

In her other tweets, Pink explained her kids and her self image majorly factor into her decision to keep things natural.

Pink started by explaining what those lines on her face really represent.

In her first tweet on Sunday, Pink pointed out what some might consider flaws on her face but redirected the focus to what those signs of aging truly represent.

"Letter to self; Dear Me, you're getting older. I see lines. Especially when you smile. Your nose is getting bigger...You look (and feel) weird as you get used to this new reality. But your nose looks like your kids, and your face wrinkles where you laugh. And yeah you idiot...u smoked," she wrote.

Pink, 40, has two kids with her husband professional motocross competitor Carey Hart, 44. Her daughter Willow Sage is eight-years-old and her son Jameson Moon is three-years-old.

She also joked about her kids knowing by her face when mom's mad.

After her "Letter to self" and "Continued note to self" tweets, Pink joked with fans about another useful mom trait her fine lines and flexible face convey.

"I want my children to know what I look like when I'm angry," she tweeted.

One fan shared her sentiment, writing, "this." and attaching a meme with an angry mom and the phrase, "A large part of being a mom is staring at your kids like this until they start acting better."

Another added, "Instead of 'Mom looks permanently surprised,'" affirming her decision to lay off the surgery.

The singer said she is determined to "AGE THE OL FASHIONED WAY."

Opting to stay plastic surgery-free stays true to the platform Pink has built over the years. In one of her most famous quotes, Pink once said, "Once you figure out what respect tastes like, it tastes better than attention. But you have to get there." She echoed this statement in her final tweet Sunday.

"I'm fortunate because I've never really depended on my looks. I've decided that my talent and my individuality is far more important than my face. So get on board cause I am about to AGE THE OL FASHIONED WAY (in a tutu ruling shit at 30 mph 100 ft in the air over 40) yasssssssss."

Fans love Pink for staying true to herself.

Fans are totally here for Pink aging naturally. Many replied on her tweets to show their support.

"Yaay!!! No blown up lips and no stretched cat eyes! Thank you Pink!!," one user wrote.

Another fan tweeted in response to tell Pink how she inspired their family.

"Honestly growing up listening to your music and seeing you was such an inspiration for both me and my sister and thanks to you, this year I helped her cut her hair short and dye it pink," the fan wrote, adding a heart emoji.
