Pink Admitted To Australian Hospital, Diagnosed With 'Gastric Virus'
Pink was admitted to a hospital in Sydney with a virus and forced to cancel another show on her Beautiful Trauma world tour on Monday.
The 38-year-old’s first show in the tour was scheduled for Friday, but it was canceled per her doctor’s orders, promoter Live Nation tweeted last week. Though Pink made it through a show on Saturday night, Live Nation tweeted Monday that the singer was admitted to a hospital on Sunday after “suffering from dehydration” and was later discharged.
Live Nation indicated the star was readmitted to the hospital on Monday and “diagnosed with a gastric virus.”
“Pink will remain in hospital overnight, continuing her treatment and recovery,” read the tweet.
On medical advice @Pink’s performance scheduled for this evening (August 6) at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena has been postponed.

The canceled shows from Friday and Monday are expected to be rescheduled. Pink’s representative did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s request for comment.

When she focused on what her body can do, not what it looks like.
“I’m a person who could always lose a couple here and there, but I would rather be strong than bony.” Pink told Who magazine in 2014. “Instead of thinking, ‘Am I skinny?’ I grew up thinking, ‘Am I fast enough? How can I use my body?'”

My life is full, I like food a lot and I really like to cook, I like to live, I find joy in that and we're doing alright in the Hart household."
When she reminded people that sexy is a state of mind, too.
"Sexy doesn't have to come with the price tag of being dumb," she told MTV in 2007.
When she shared what makes her feel beautiful.
"Hanging upside down and being physical makes me feel beautiful," Pink told Redbook in 2013. "Feeling beautiful to me is when I feel good in my leather pants and my husband grabs my ass. Or when I'm sitting on a mat and my daughter runs to me with complete joy. Beautiful has never been my goal. Joy is my goal -- to feel healthy and strong and powerful and useful and engaged and intelligent and in love. It's about joy. And there's such joy now."
When she dismissed claims that her body is "masculine."

In an August 2012 interview with Billboard, Pink talked about finding humor in mean comments about her appearance.
“I always read the responses from the fans,” she said. “It was 99 percent positive, but I’ll always have that 1 percent that’s negative. And my favorite comment was, ‘Too bad they can’t Photoshop the bitch off your face.’ That’s actually pretty good.”
When she dismissed criticism of her tattoos.
“I’m fine knowing I’m going to be 80 with all these tattoos," she told Dean Piper in 2012. "They’re all really meaningful."
