Almost all CVS Target locations across the country are offering COVID-19 vaccine appointments, and now the retailer is giving shot recipients a special perk. Guests and team members get a $5 Target coupon when they receive a CVS Target vaccine."Visit CVS.com to check availability and schedule your COVID-19 vaccine appointment (you can schedule your second dose at the same time, if applicable)," the company says in a post on its website. Walmart and its wholesale store Sam's Club is offering walk-in doses at all store pharmacies. Safeway and Albertsons are also allowing customers to walk in and get the shot in some locations. Convenience stores like Walgreens, Rite Aid, and stand-alone CVS locations are also allowing walk-ins. Costco launched a new COVID-19 vaccine scheduling system a few weeks ago, and all you have to do is type in your state, city, or zip code, and the Costco warehouses with appointments pop right up.However, Target is the only retailer with a vaccine coupon incentive for customers (besides places like Staples, Office Depot, and Office Max, which are laminating vaccine cards for free). There are some other places giving out free food to vaccinated customers, though, including Krispy Kreme, Budweiser, and White Castle.But the good news is, that $5 can help you pay for some foods and drinks that can help you feel your best after getting the shot.
