Pikeman has been attempting to take down Sonny for months on General Hospital, and on the April 29, 2024 episode, the organization revealed its new plan to eliminate him, while also eliminating someone else.

Two For One

After signing in at Pentonville claiming he was visiting Nikolas (Adam Huss, who returned to GH today for some scenes with Maura West), Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) secretly met with Brennan (Charles Mesure) alone and the two discussed the future of Pikeman. Valentin assured him that Sonny (Maurice Benard) has been drifting further from the people he loves due to his lack of bipolar medication, a tactic Brennan called simple but effective.

When Brennan mentioned the other problem on their hands, Valentin immediately knew it was Jason’s (Steve Burton, who recently revealed the moment he almost walked off the GH set) undercover operation as Alan Jacobs. “Someone went through a lot of trouble putting Jason Morgan at Pikeman,” Valentin realized, having no idea it was John (Adam Harrington) behind it.

That was when Valentin revealed the new plan. He told Brennan that Jason and Sonny are currently at odds, “and with him erratic and angry,” Valentin began before Brennan finished, “We eliminate Jason and pin it on Sonny.”

Plotting Against Pikeman

Meanwhile, Anna (Finola Hughes) visited Jason at his new office and informed him that she believes Valentin is more involved with Pikeman than he let on. She asked if Jason could try and get a read on her former lover to see if her suspicions were true.

John later showed up demanding an update on the investigation. He was quick to threaten Carly (Laura Wright) with the RICO charges again, telling Jason that if he didn’t make progress, Carly would lose the hotel all over again.
