Pike Place Market launches brand-new interactive Market Map
Pike Place Market announced the launch of its brand-new interactive Market Map to help guide visitors around the 9-acre market.
Starting on June 29, the public will have access to the Market Map on their devices, which provides detailed directions to businesses, ATMs and other attractions.
Pike Place Market acknowledged that traversing the 9-acre, 10-level market is challenging.
In response, the map has incorporated many accessible features, including:
· Point-to-point directions that will guide visitors between any listed locations input on the map.
· A keyword search bar, which will allow visitors to search by category for restaurants, parking, coffee and other amenities.
· Simple icons that designate where stairs, ramps, and elevators are located within the various shop levels for easy accessibility.
· A market directory that offers a direct link to each business listing for more information on opening hours, contact information, social media handles, etc.
