Piers Morgan Has the Perfect Response to Trump’s ‘WITCH HUNT!’ Tweet
Well played, Piers Morgan; well played.
British media personality Morgan fortified his position as a card-carrying member of the Twitterati on Tuesday, delivering the perfect response to a cryptic tweet published by President Donald Trump.
Morgan’s pithy wit came into play after Trump tweeted Tuesday morning, “WITCH HUNT!”

While Trump didn’t offer further details on his declaration, Morgan filled in the blanks with a scathing bit of humor.
“Oh-oh…Omarosa’s in trouble,” Morgan tweeted in response.
For those who haven’t been keeping up with such things, that would be a reference to Morgan’s former “Celebrity Apprentice” castmate and Trump administration alum Omarosa Manigault, who exited her White House gig under murky circumstances last year and took some shots at the Trump administration during her subsequent stint on “Celebrity Big Brother,” saying the country is “not going to be okay” with Trump in the White House.
Morgan has made no secret about his antipathy for Manigault. In a Daily Mirror column published earlier this month, Morgan called her a “”a vicious, duplicitous, lying, conniving, backstabbing piece of work” and accusing her of offering Morgan sex during their time on “Celebrity Apprentice.”

Morgan wrote that Manigault made her offer while they were taping the first season of “Celebrity Apprentice,” as they awaited details of their first challenge.
“Omarosa sidled up to me at the New York Mercantile Exchange and said, quite seriously, ‘Piers, do you want a showmance?’ ‘A what?’ I replied. ‘A showmance. You know, a romance on the show — we get it on together. Happens all the time on ‘Apprentice.’ Everyone has sex together. Then we can make lots of money out of it,'” Morgan wrote.
“I stared at her grasping, ferociously ambitious little eyes, and laughed,” Morgan continued. “‘You must be joking, you deluded woman.’ She didn’t take it well. ‘What are you? Gay?'”

According to Morgan, after he rejected the offer, Manigault decided to “repeatedly question my sexuality in the most crude and offensive manner.”
Among the instances, Morgan wrote, was when Manigault “snarled” at him, “Shut the f– up, a-hole … How are your kids going to feel when they wake up and discover their dad’s a f–ing f—t?”
