Mark of the Beach: When the 21st Amendment repealed national liquor prohibition in 1933, each state was then able to decide for itself whether to ban alcohol or not. Mississippi held out the longest, ending their state-wide alcohol ban 33 years later. Since there's no amendment authorizing national cannabis prohibition, it's always been up to each state. 10 down, 40 to go. Which state will be the last hold-out this time? Kansas is my bet.
