Presenting Mr. and Mrs. Van Halen!

On Oct. 15, Wolfgang Van Halen and longtime love Andraia Allsop exchanged vows at home in Los Angeles, with 90 friends and family members present.

"I wanted to create this wedding as a celebration, not only just for us getting married, but a celebration for the people we love and maybe we haven't been able to spend time with or see with schedules and COVID," Allsop told PEOPLE.

Added Van Halen, "For me, it was ... just to have a wonderful time with friends and family and to be married. Pretty simple."

Here, see all the gorgeous photos from the pair's wedding.

The couple held their private ceremony inside their living room, against a backdrop of custom stained glass.

"I've never seen so many chairs in this room in my life," joked Van Halen.

Allsop added that the pair kept one chair empty in memory of the groom's late father, Eddie Van Halen.

"For me that's been the most important thing, is how can we keep his dad here with us," she shared, with Van Halen adding, "We've lost important family members on both sides, so it's important to include them and have them be a part of the ceremony that we wish they were here for."

Van Halen was escorted down the aisle by his mother, Valerie Bertinelli, to an instrumental song called "316," written by Eddie for his son.

“Ed would’ve been absolutely beaming and so, so proud of the man Wolfie has become and is becoming and so happy that he has found Andraia, someone who really understands Wolfie, who he is and who he wants to be, and supports him wholeheartedly,” Bertinelli told PEOPLE.

Allsop wore a dress by Eva Lendel for the big day.

"My goal was just to be able to be comfortable throughout the whole day and the whole night," she told PEOPLE. "It was one of the first ones I tried on ... I kept going back to this one, and that was it."

Among her accessories was a necklace from Bertinelli, which Eddie had once given to her. "It's sort of the something borrowed," Allsop said.

For his bachelor party ahead of the big day, Van Halen hosted his friends for a low-key sleepover at which they played video games and did the Hot Ones Challenge.

"Everybody did it," he shared. "Every single person did it. It was tough, but we did it."

Van Halen opted not to play any music himself ("I'm going on tour in 21 days," he explained) but the couple did have a few personal requests for their DJ.

"I want Wolfie to have his moment with one of his favorite bands, Meshuggah," Allsop said.

"They're very progessive metal," Van Halen explained, adding with a laugh, "Anyone over 40 will be terrified. But you know what? It's my wedding and I'll do whatever I want."

The pair held their reception in the backyard "so people can just go nuts," Allsop said. Their wedding planner put together "stream lights and outdoor lights to create a little ambience," she added.

An Italian dinner led into tiramisu for dessert and a "celebration cake" from California bakery SusieCakes.

"We both want the best for each other," Allsop said, "and with that way of thinking, things just kind of fall into place with us."
