These classic COSI photos will send you back in the Time Tunnel

COSI, the Center of Science and Industry, opened to the public on March 29, 1964, with the original location at East Broad Street, taking over Memorial Hall in downtown Columbus. COSI moved in 1999 to West Broad Street along the Scioto River. COSI is known for hands-on exhibits and displays.

1975 - Replicas of all the presidents of the United States, each in two-thirds life size, were displayed for the first time at the Center of Science and Industry (COSI), 280 E. Broad St., as a Bicentennial feature. Visitors could select any president and listen to him comment on the first 200 years of our nation. All comments were taken from speeches and remarks delivered while they were in office.
