Aug. 3—This year marks the first carnival for the church's new pastor, the Rev. Frank Hoffmann, who formerly held the position of vicar for clergy in the Diocese of Bridgeport. Residents are invited to meet Father Frank at the carnival.

The hours of the carnival are 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Unlimited ride bracelets can be purchased every day.

There will be live music, with the Wilton Steel Drum Band performing from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and the Peterman Project playing from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday.

The church is also hosting a raffle with a first prize of $10,000 cash. Tickets are $25 each, with a drawing set for 10 p.m. Saturday; the winner need not be present to win. Raffle tickets can be purchased online at https://osvhub.com/stmatthewnorwalk/forms/2023-carnival-raffle.

The proceeds support the church's community programs.

Admission is free. Handicapped parking in available in the church lot; parking is available down the street at Norwalk Community College at 188 Richards Ave., with a free shuttle offered to the church.
