Formula One star Lando Norris celebrated his 24th birthday in Vegas this week, with a special party thrown by TUMI.

Timed to Saturday’s F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix race, the party took place at the TUMI store in Caesar’s Palace, with Norris presented with a suitcase-inspired cake in his McLaren’s team signature “papaya” colorway (no word if the cake’s filling matched the tropical fruit-inspired shade).

In addition to feting Norris before his big race, the event also served as a chance to showcase the TUMI | McLaren 60th Anniversary collection, which launched earlier this year with a high-profile campaign featuring Norris as the official ambassador. The collection celebrates six decades since the founding of the McLaren racing team, with classic TUMI pieces reworked in McLaren’s signature black and papaya colors.

Norris’ campaign was entitled “Unpack Tomorrow,” which TUMI says was a nod to the brand’s commitment to always pushing the envelope when it comes to performance and design, while playing off Norris’ busy F1 travel schedule (the driver heads to Abu Dhabi to close out the 2023 Formula One season next weekend).

Norris has long been a fan of TUMI’s and is frequently spotted with his TUMI “Torque” sling bag. The TUMI x McLaren collection also includes a “Velocity” backpack and the Aero International Expandable Carry-On.
