Phoebe Bridgers Covers Tom Waits’ “Georgia Lee”: Listen

Dualtone Music Group has released the new Tom Waits tribute record Come On Up to the House: Women Sing Waits. As the title suggests, it features an array of female artists covering Waits’ songs. Included on the collection is Phoebe Bridgers’ rendition of “Georgia Lee,” which appeared on the 1999 LP Mule Variations. Listen below.

This year, Phoebe Bridgers teamed with Conor Oberst for their debut album as Better Oblivion Community Center. Last year, Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker released the boygenius EP. And, in 2017, Phoebe Bridgers shared her debut Stranger in the Alps.
