Here's hoping you saved room on your busy summer music calendar for a pair of free concerts by national acts.

Phillip Phillips and country group LANCO will perform separately at two different venues near Lambeau Field in coming weeks.

Phillips, the Season 11 "American Idol" champ behind such hits as  “Gone, Gone, Gone" and “Home," will play a free show hosted by Star 98 (WQLH-FM, 98.5) over the noon hour July 27 in the parking lot of Green Bay Distillery, 835 Mike McCarthy Way.

Phillips will play his new single, "Dancing With Your Shadows," off his first new album in five years, "Drift Back," along with his biggest hits, according to information on the Star 98 website. He's scheduled to perform after the Packers finish their morning practice during training camp at Ray Nitschke Field across the street from Green Bay Distillery.

Local singer-songwriter Bryce Hunter will perform after Phillips, who will be headed to Michigan's Upper Peninsula to play the RRN Block Party in downtown Escanaba on July 28.

LANCO's concert is night before Packers-Patriots preseason game

LANCO, whose 2017 breakout hit "Greatest Love Story" has become a staple of wedding dances and proposals, will play the final Titletown Beats concert of the summer at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 18 in the Titletown District. The concert is the night before the Packers take on the New England Patriots for a preseason game at 7 p.m. Aug. 19 at Lambeau Field.

The Smoke River Band from Two Rivers will open at 6 p.m. from a stage set up along the west side of Ridge Road.

LANCO is no stranger to Green Bay. The band opened for Chris Young in 2018 and Luke Combs in 2019, both at the Resch Center, and played one of the final concerts in the city in March 2020 before the pandemic brought touring acts to a halt.

Titletown hosted rapper-singer Bryce Vine for its second Titletown Beats concert last weekend. Flo Rida kicked off the series in June with a concert that got a late start when the "Low" rapper had travel delays. Milwaukee-based DJay Mando opened both of those shows.
