Pharrell Williams just dropped a gender-neutral 'Premium Basics' collection with Adidas — shop the line now

Fashion and sportswear powerhouse Adidas has had its fair share of celebrity collaborations. The brand is known to partner with some of the most respected and popular stars on collections that break the internet — literally. From Beyoncé to Kanye West, Adidas definitely knows how to do it big and its latest partnership with Pharrell Williams is no different.
Titled the Pharrell Premium Basics collection, this minimalistic line features five apparel pieces in six different colorways that the brand describes as “a range of reimagined basics for everyday wear.”
Each clothing piece in this collection is gender neutral with prices ranging from $40 to $100.
The sleek collection also includes two color updates to the Pharrell Superstar Primeknit sneaker which retails for $140.
According to a press release shared with In The Know, Adidas Originals and Pharrell “found inspiration from the work of artist Noah Purifoy” to bring the collection to life. “This campaign creates a symbiotic dialogue between art, fashion and the evocative desert landscape,” the release reads.
The products’ descriptions further drive home the “basics” theme, adding that “everything needs a foundation” and this collection “is just that.”
“A celebration of inclusivity and equality, its focus on comfort and freedom of expression is a baseline for everyday life,” the description continues.
The full collection, outlined below, includes the basics T-shirt, the basics shorts, the basics hoodie, the basics crew sweatshirt and the basics sweatpants. Each item is available in six colors: olive cargo, light grey heather, earth brown, ecru tint, night sky and black.
Keep in mind that sizing ranges will be available at the date and time of launch: April 9 at 1:00 p.m. EST. Since this collection is a limited release, each piece will likely sell out quickly, so shop while inventory lasts.

These shorts are made of soft French terry and feature two side pockets.

This crewneck is made of soft French terry and has a ribbed hem and cuffs for a snug feel and fit.
Pharrell Williams Premium Basics Hoodies, Gender Neutral, $100
This hoodie is made of soft French terry and, like the crew sweatshirt, it has a ribbed hem and cuffs.
Pharrell Williams Premium Basics Sweatpants, Gender Neutral, $90
These minimalistic sweatpants are made of soft French terry and have elastic cuffs. Push them higher up on the calves to show off your sock and sneaker game.
Pharrell Williams Primeknit Superstar Shoes In Core White And Vivid Green, $140
In celebration of the Adidas Superstar shoe’s 50th anniversary, Pharrell put another spin on the iconic sneaker. The knit and patchwork design mimics the natural structure of the foot while maintaining some of the shoe’s most iconic details like the rubber shell toe and chunky cupsole.
