Pharrell Producing New Horror Film Survive the Night

About a group of undergrads trapped in an underground warehouse festival

Pharrell is set to produce the forthcoming horror film, Survive the Night. Based on a young adult novel, the film will focus on a group of female undergrads trapped at an underground warehouse music festival on Halloween, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Williams will produce with his partner Mimi Valdes from I Am Other Entertainment. They last teamed up on the Oscar-nominated film Hidden Figures, for which he also oversaw the musical composition. Williams is also producing a new musical film based on his childhood called Atlantis. He recently contributed music to the Despicable Me 3 soundtrack. In 2013, he composed the theme song and score for Despicable Me 2.
