PGA Sets Speakers for 2024 Produced By Conference

The Producers Guild of America has announced the first round of speakers for the 2024 edition of the Produced By Conference, which is taking place on the Fox studio lot in Century City on Saturday, June 8.

Those confirmed to speak so far include Alan Poul (Tokyo Vice), Angela Russo-Otstot (Cherry), Brad Simpson (Crazy Rich Asians), Charles Roven (Oppenheimer), Greg Berlanti (Red, White & Royal Blue), Ghaith Mahmood (Partner of Latham & Watkins), Howard Gordon (Accused), Jack Rapke (Cast Away), Paul W. Downs (Hacks), Jeff Schaffer (Curb Your Enthusiasm), John Wilson (How To with John Wilson), J.T. Rogers (Tokyo Vice), Jen Statsky (Hacks), Kate Crawford (Atlas of AI), Lori McCreary (Madam Secretary), Lucia Aniello (Hacks), Lynette Howell Taylor (A Star Is Born), Mike Farah (@fter Midnight), Renard T. Jenkins (President, I2A2 Technologies, Labs & Studio), Roxanne Taylor (the GOAT) and Tommy Oliver (Juice WRLD: Into The Abyss).

Confirmed to moderate discussions are Amy Gravitt (Executive Vice President and Head of HBO and Max Original Comedy Programming), Donald De Line (Ready Player One), Joanna Popper (Breonna’s Garden), Sarah Aubrey, (Head of Max Original Programming) and Stephanie Allain (Dear White People). Speakers are subject to change and expect more to be announced in the coming weeks.

At Produced By, the industry’s top producers offer participants exclusive insights and valuable strategies for the future of production across film, TV and new media. This year’s event will feature numerous networking opportunities and panels, including the return of the State of Producing panel, with key producers sharing the current challenges producers are facing today and how to overcome them to achieve success.

New for this year’s conference is the focus on the future of producing. This includes two panels dedicated to AI with different conversations around the advancement of technology within the industry. One panel will focus on how producers can utilize AI to bring value to their production while the other will discuss how to adapt and thrive in this new era of.

“This year’s Produced By Conference program will ignite meaningful conversations around the current and future state of the industry and the producing profession,” said PGA Presidents Allain and De Line. “We look forward to coming together with our peers to learn, engage with each other, and begin conversations that will continue beyond the conference.”

Produced By 2024’s team includes EP Branden Chapman, Sponsorship Director Diane Salerno, and the PGA’s PR agency of record, Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis.
