PGA Awards Documentary Nominees: ‘Eagle Huntress’, ‘Tower’, ‘OJ’ & More

The PGA has unveiled its five nominees in the Documentary Theatrical Motion Pictures category for the 28th annual PGA Awards. They include The Eagle Huntress, which bowed at the Sundance Film Festival this year and now counts Daisy Ridley as exec producer and narrator; Tower, the animated pic using archival and documentary footage to tell the story of the mass shooting at the University of Texas in 1996; and OJ: Made In America, the five-part ESPN docu that chronicled the events leading up to and following the murder of OJ Simpson’s wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.

Nominations for the Television Series/Specials and Children’s Programs, Long Form Television and Sports and Digital Series will be announced January 5, and nominations for Theatrical Motion Pictures and Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures will be announced January 10.

Winners will be announced at the PGA Awards ceremony January 28 at the Beverly Hilton.
