Thousands of "Love Is Blind" fans want a change in the Netflix reality series' hosts.

A Change.org petition calling on the streaming giant to remove Cincinnati native Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa as co-hosts of the dating show has gained over 34,500 signatures as of Friday. Once it reaches 35,000, it will be one of the "top signed" petitions on Change.org, the website states.

The platform user who launched the petition under the name Libby Cross wrote that Nick and Vanessa's hosting on the show feels "useless and out of place." The couple has hosted the series since it started in 2020.

"They seem to be much more concerned with directing as much attention at themselves and their personal lives rather than focusing on the contestants that are actually participating in the experiment," the petition's description reads. "Many enjoy the show but it’s being held back from its full potential with cringy Nick and Vanessa Lachey."

Those who signed the petition left similar comments.

"Terrible biased hosts that take away enjoyment from watching the show," one person wrote.

"They ask the wrong questions, are bland/uncharismatic, biased, and cringe," another added.

Some petition signers criticized the couple's hosting during Sunday's season 4 "Love is Blind" reunion, which was plagued by technical issues. Fans aired their grievances on Twitter about the special episode's delay and, after it aired, about Nick and Vanessa's hosting.

"Netflix needs to swiftly fire Nick and Vanessa," one person posted.

Some people, though, don't mind the Lacheys nor their hosting style.

"I’ve always found them to be appropriately sadistic hosts," a Reddit user wrote. "The evil is palpable, but I thought that’s what we were looking for in our reality dating shows."

Shayne Jansen, who appeared on “Love Is Blind” season 2, also defended Nick and Vanessa in a recent Instagram Q&A with fans.

The reality TV star said the couple is “extremely nice" in a since-expired Instagram Story, according to Page Six.

“They were the nicest humans during my experience,” he said.

Neither Nick nor Vanessa have responded to the petition on social media.

The Enquirer attempted to reach out to them but has not yet received a response.
