PETERSBURG — Join the Petersburg Symphony Orchestra for "Mozart and More!." Ticket holders will experience a harmonious journey through Bizet, Dvorak and the genius of Mozart.

You will not want to miss the Virginia premiere of the clarinet concerto by composer Edmund Thornton Jenkins which features guest clarinetist LeTriel Monique White from Delaware State University.

The fall performance begins at 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 22 at the Petersburg High School Auditorium located at 3101 Johnson Road.

The tickets cost $6.50 for youth, $12 for college students [an ID must be presented], $18 for seniors 62 and older and $23 for adults ages 18-61. Visit petersburgsymphony.org to purchase tickets.

Recently, Petersburg Symphony Orchestra stated on Facebook that Maestra Naima Burrs and Conductor and Board President Dr. Kenneth Lewis were orchestrating magic with their dedicated members as they tuned up for their "Mozart and More!" grand performance.

"I’m so happy to welcome my friend LeTriel White to Virginia State University, as our featured guest artist for the Petersburg Symphony Orchestra's opening concert of the season. She is a rockstar, and we are pumped after our first rehearsal today," Burrs posted on Facebook.
