Peter Langenberg Tapped COO of Banijay Group
PARIS — Peter Langenberg, a former high-ranking exec at Warner Bros. international TV production, has been appointed chief operating officer of Banijay Group.
Based in London and Paris, Langenberg will be in charge of Banijay Group’s companies across the U.K., Netherlands, Belgium, Russia, Germany, and India, with a particular focus on building synergies and development opportunities.
“Peter has an extremely strong track record in determining and expanding strategic opportunities across a wide-ranging group of companies and we are sure that his expertise and enthusiasm for the content business will take our growing federation of creative companies to the next level,” said Marco Bassetti, Banijay’s CEO.
Langenberg said he looked forward to fostering “synergies within the group, contributing to further expansion and being part of this exciting journey.”
“Banijay, certainly after the recent merger with Zodiak, is just at the beginning of taking advantage of growth opportunities,” added Langenberg, who was previously VP of business management for Warner Bros. International TV Production from 2011 to 2016.
Langenberg also worked at Endemol for ten years.
