Rock: Peter Gabriel's 2023 album "I/O" is over two decades in the making since his previous release "Up." But "I/O" hasn't been fully released. Gabriel has released a new single every full moon since January, with three more songs to go and possibly more next year.

But you can still expect the former Genesis frontman to perform selections from the album on Saturday during his concert at Acrisure Arena, including the hits such as "Sledgehammer," "Big Time," Solsbury Hill," "In Your Eyes" and more.

Gabriel will be performing with his band featuring musicians Tony Levin, David Rhodes and Manu Katché.

Folk: What do The Grateful Dead, Bruce Springsteen and Tom Waits have in common? All of them have paid homage to folk singer Ramblin' Jack Elliott. Bob Dylan once referred to Elliott as "The King of Folk Singers."

At 92, Elliott is in the seventh decade of his music career and still continues to perform live shows.

Elliott will perform Saturday at Pappy and Harriet's.

'80s: Aside from Tom Cruise, fighter jets and the "Danger Zone," one of the memorable highlights of the 1986 film "Top Gun" was Berlin's song "Take My Breath Away." Berlin also had other hits such as "The Metro" and "No More Words." The band broke up in 1987, but frontwoman Terri Nunn reformed the band with a new lineup a decade later.

In 2019, Nunn reunited with original members John Crawford and David Diamond for the first time since 2004 when the band was featured on VH1's Bands Reunited and have since released two albums.

Berlin will perform on Friday at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa.

Benefit: The Concert for Autism benefitting the Desert Autism Foundation is in its 16th year and features three shows leading up to its finale on Oct. 21 at the Tack Room Tavern in Indio.
