Pete Davidson and Colin Jost are used to getting up to all sorts of antics together on Saturday Night Live, but now they're taking it to the big screen.

Because we all need a good laugh these days, the pair have signed up to star in an upcoming wedding comedy called Worst Man, according to Variety.

It sounds like it's going to be a feel-good film, with the synopsis reading, "the wedding comedy follows a soon-to-be-married couple and the family dramatics that ensue just weeks before the wedding".

SNL producer Lorne Michaels has signed on to produce the comedy, and Universal is now on the hunt for a director, but the main question about the film is, who will be the worst man?

While Colin has been writing for SNL, Pete has been busy starring in Judd Apatow's new movie, The King of Staten Island.

The comedian recently admitted that doing the film actually gave him "closure" to his own past issues with grief and mental health struggles.

In the film, the Suicide Squad star plays a guy called Scott who's struggling with his mental health and his father's death.

Pete tragically lost his firefighter father when he was just 7-years-old during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, and he recently told Sky News' Backstage podcast about how it helped him.

"As someone who's open with struggles and issues, I think I'm always learning and growing. Making this film allowed me to grow more as a person," he shared.

"One of the main reasons why I wanted to make this [film] and tell this story was because I wanted this chapter in my life to be closed.

"Not forgotten, but I wanted to be able to move on and show that it's OK to have issues and it's OK to struggle, and that you're not alone and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel."
