In his SNL hosting debut, alum Pete Davidson made light of some dark moments in his recent past with the help of the year's biggest movie.

In an ode to Ryan Gosling's autobiographical power ballad "I'm Just Ken" from Barbie, Davidson rattled off some of his own unique qualities in the parody "I'm Just Pete."

Since joining SNL in 2014, Davidson's personal life has been weirdly well-documented, from his high-profile paramours to his struggles with mental health and, bridging those two worlds, his feud with arch-nemesis Kanye West.

The Bupkis star gets into all of that and more in "I'm Just Pete," featuring SNL players Mikey Day as "First Update Pete," Bowen Yang as "Met Gala Pete," and Devon Walker as "Black Pete."

Davidson sings about buying a boat with Colin Jost, being christened "Skete Davidson" by "a guy whose name I can't say legally," his periodic visits to rehab, and, of course, his "famous B.D.E."

At the end of the clip, Davidson crashes his car into the side of a mansion, with girlfriend Barbie (Chloe Fineman) in tow, exclaiming, "Oh, not again!" Davidson and his then-girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders were involved in a similar incident back in March.
