Pete Davidson wasted no time at his first stand-up comedy set in three years, opening the show with jokes about Kanye West and the rapper's feud with him.

During a show for Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival at the Hollywood Bowl Thursday night, the Saturday Night Live star cracked wise about West telling him that he had AIDS, joking that he believed West because the rapper "is a genius," according to Deadline.

Davidson went on to discuss the Will Smith-Chris Rock Oscars slap, recalling when he attended a basketball game with Jon Stewart and Rock in December 2021, which Davidson called "the before time, before life was over."

Davidson has been on the receiving end of a great deal of vitriol from West after beginning a relationship with the rapper's ex-wife Kim Kardashian. West's recent song "Eazy" featured a lyric about "beat[ing] Pete Davidson's ass," while the music video depicted a claymation version of Davidson getting buried up to his neck.

At his stand-up show, the comedian added that he didn't hold it against his pal Jack Harlow for collaborating with West, but quipped that his friendship with Bill Burr would be over if his King of Staten Island costar attended one of West's Sunday Service shows.

Davidson is currently on leave from SNL while filming an upcoming movie. He will also appear in A24's Bodies Bodies Bodies, set for release later this summer.
