Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy Meet Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy’s Baby: Photos

Bringing the whole family together! Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy finally met Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy’s newborn son, Rome. “Meeting Baby Rome ✨. One of the most special nights for our families. New life, new purpose and new joy!” Murgatroyd, 36, who is pregnant with baby No. 2, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, February 22, alongside a series of family photos. “It’s been so sweet seeing the both of you @jennajohnson @valentin parent this little angel. We love you all so much XO.” Johnson, for her part, also shared a slideshow of photos of Rome meeting other members of the Chmerkovskiy family. Additional members of the Dancing With the Stars cast including Lindsay Arnold and Koko Iwasaki's fiancé, Kiki Nyemchek, were also in the snaps. “A Rome recap ⚡️,” the So You Think You Can Dance alum, 28, captioned photos of Rome offering commentary on what was going on in each snap — including the little one getting a “lesson on cucarachas” from his Uncle Maks and more. "Uncleing is awesome!!!" the Masked Dancer alum wrote via his Instagram Stories. "A completely different feeling I've never felt before! Baby Rome is definitely a homie! What a time to be a Chmerkovskiy!" Johnson and Val, 36, welcomed their first child last month. The pair, who wed in 2019, struggled with infertility for years before Rome came into their life. “Our world is forever changed 🤍,” the Utah native captioned a photo of the new parents holding their son’s tiny finger. After announcing the arrival of their little one, Val’s brother, Maksim, 43, offered his congratulations for the happy couple by commenting a series of heart emojis on his nephew’s announcement. Maksim and Murgatroyd share son Shai, whom they welcomed in 2017.
