Peso Pluma, the corridos tumbados superstar, is bringing his "Exodo" tour to Nashville.
Peso Pluma, whose real name is Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija, announced his "Exodo" tour on Tuesday which includes over 35 shows in various cities across North America. "Exodo" follows his record breaking, Grammy-award winning 2023 album, "Genesis."
Included in the tour is a stop at Bridgestone Arena on July 30.
The date will not be Peso Pluma's first time performing in Music City. The star was set to perform at the Ryman Auditorium on July 29, 2023 however the show was canceled due to a scheduling conflict. He was then scheduled to perform at Ascend Amphitheater on June 30, but the show had to ultimately be re-scheduled for July 29 due to weather.
In July, Peso Pluma delivered a captivating, electrifying show under a dark, stormy Nashville sky, performing hits like, "Lady Gaga," "Lagunas" and "El Azul."
According to a news release, "Exodo" will be an all-new show, inclusive of a fully reimagined set design and setlist, featuring Peso Pluma's remarkable live band.

What are corridos tumbados?
Corridos tumbados, often called trap or narco corridos, are a subgenre of the Mexican Corridos which are known for their storytelling elements, often about oppression or tales of an underdog.
Corridos tumbados combine the sounds and narratives of traditional Corridos with urban and hip-hop elements. However, the genre has generated controversy for the glorification of the narco culture and lifestyle.
Other stars of the genre include Natanael Cano, Junior H and Eslabon Armado.
