Person Killed in Hit-and-Run After Dutch Festival
A person has been killed in a hit-and-run near Dutch festival PinkPop this morning, the BBC reports. A van driver hit four people at a campsite near the festival, before fleeing the scene and abandoning the vehicle nearby. The van was later found by police, who arrested a suspect. It’s unclear whether the collision was deliberate. The festival organizers wrote on Facebook that they were “deeply shocked” by the news, according to the BBC.
Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, and Bruno Mars headlined the three-day festival in Landgraaf.
