Who is performing at the 2024 California State Fair? Here’s who has been announced so far

(FOX40.COM) — The California State Fair continues to announce performers for its 2024 concert series.

On April 24, UB40 featuring Ali Campbell and Lukas Nelson were added to the Toyota Concert Series lineup.

UB40 is an British reggae and pop band known for hits such as “Red Red Wine” and “Kingston Town.” The band will perform at the state fair at 8 p.m. on July 28, which is the final day of the fair.

Lukas Nelson is the son of legendary country singer Willie Nelson and provides the lead vocals for country rock band Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real. Lukas Nelson is set to perform at 8 p.m. on July 25.

Country singer Cole Swindell and classic surf rock band The Beach Boys were also recently announced to fair’s music lineup.

Swindell will perform at 8 p.m. on July 14 while The Beach Boys will take the stage at 8 p.m. on July 26.

Lineup announced for 2024 Concerts in the Park

Swindell is known for country hits such as “Ain’t Worth the Whiskey” and his 2013 debut single “Chillin’ It.”

During the band’s over half-century career, the Beach Boys have become known for their hits such as “I Get Around,” “California Girls,” “Surfin’ USA,” and “Kokomo.”

Other previously announced acts include British rock band Bush, rapper Flo Rida and country singer Chris Young. 

Those concerts will also start at 8 p.m.

More acts for the 17-day lineup are expected to be announced in the coming weeks

The 2024 California State Fair will take place from July 12 through July 28. The fair’s Toyota Concert Series is expected to have a performer every day.

How much are tickets for the fair and concerts? 

All shows for the concert series are free with fair admission, but seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The free seating is limited to the first 700 guests.

Fair guests can buy reserved seating for the concert series starting at $25. 

Daily admission for the fair is $16 for adults, $12 for seniors ages 62 and up, and $10 for kids august 5 to 12. Tickets can be bought in advance with a $2 discount.

Children ages 4 and under can get inside the fair for free.

Parking is $15 and unlimited wristbands for rides are $39 to $44, but those must be purchased in the carnival.
