Perfect Match's Chloe shares an update on her relationship with Shayne
After a pretty dramatic finale, we finally found out which of the Perfect Match contestants ended up with one another. But given that the show was filmed around a year prior to it hitting our screens, many have wondered which couples are still together now.
And one of the couples who went through a bit of a rollercoaster – to say the least – with them matching, then splitting, then ultimately matching again, was Chloe Veitch from Too Hot to Handle and Shayne Jansen from Love Is Blind.
In the final episode as they went on their very last date on the show, Chloe expressed some doubts about their future as a couple. However, Shayne appeared to assure Chloe that he was “willing to do whatever it takes” after filming stopped.
And she responded by saying, “you are my perfect match,” before joking, “now put a baby in me.”
Later in the season finale Chloe did admit that the pair had “had a few tiffs” and knew that they had some things to work on in their relationship. But she doubled down on her certainty that Shayne was her “perfect match”.
For Shayne, being on Perfect Match was his first time “getting back into the dating world” after he and Natalie Lee split on Love Is Blind. However, according to Natalie this wasn’t the last time that the two spoke since seeing each other at the Love Is Blind reunion show.
She revealed that Shayne, “wanted to leave midway through filming because he still had feelings for me after we saw each other for [the] first time since our breakup at the reunion show taping.”
Chloe also appears to confirm that she and Shayne are no longer together on her TikTok.
Firstly, she posted about dating someone who had gone back to their ex. Then, she appeared in some TikTok videos with Natalie and another Perfect Match contestant – Ines Tazi – who briefly coupled up with Shayne on the show.
In a comment below this video, Chloe commented, “*no hate we love Shayne . . . we all just have one thing in common!”
Could that very thing be that they all dated Shayne in the past?
It now appears we have 100 per cent confirmation Shayne and Chloe are no longer, after Chloe gave a new insight into their relationship whilst speaking to People.
Chloe told the publication the pair had broken up saying she had doubts in her mind about the status of their relationship following an argument they had on Perfect Match.
She said: "There was some doubt right in my mind from the previous argument that we had. I see some colours that I didn't like. I quite like pink. I don't like red.
"So after the show, we decided not to take things any further."
So far Shayne has not commented on their breakup. Here's hoping both are doing well.
