The pod is made up of six 15-minute episodes and features a mix of interactive games, outdoor adventures and sing-alongs with new band The Piggy-Wigs. Themes in the podcast include ‘Are We There Yet’, an episode supporting pre-schoolers on long journeys, and an ep about anger titled ‘Very Big Feelings’, which is designed to help families with pre-schoolers recognize and navigate their emotions.

The series, which was teased last year, is the first fruits of the partnership between the toy giant and podcasting major. Peppa Pig turns 20 this year and its IP has proved hugely valuable to Hasbro, which also wons the likes of Transformers and Monopoly.

“For 20 years, Peppa has been the first best friend of children around the globe, inspiring them to confidently jump into all of life’s muddy puddles,” said Kristin McKay, SVP and GM, Global Brands, Fashion & Preschool, at Hasbro. “Now, with Audible, we’re proud to deliver even more ways for fans and families to connect with their favourite piggy with podcasts to bring Peppa wherever they are.”
