Nov. 2—On Thursday, singer Pepe Aguilar announced dates for his new Jaripeo Hasta Los Huesos Tour, which will stop at Mechanics Bank Arena on March 31.

The performer was previously set to bring his Jaripeo Sin Fronteras to Bakersfield for a stop on Nov. 18. (Tickets already purchased for that show will be good for the new date.)

Aguilar and his family will take the stage March 29 in Anaheim for the 20-city tour with a new look, production and theme that pays tribute to the Day of the Dead, one of Mexico's most recognized celebrations.

Jaripeo Hasta Los Huesos will take the audience on "a visual and musical journey that goes back to the origin of the Aguilar Dynasty." The setlist will include classic and favorite songs spanning several generations, including hits by the legendary Antonio Aguilar, up to the latest hits and timeless classics by Pepe Aguilar, the music of Leonardo and Ángela, as well as Antonio Aguilar Jr.

Winner of 13 Grammys, with over 32 recorded productions that have sold more than 17 million albums, Aguilar is regarded as one of the best Spanish-speaking performers known for musical events highlighting his ranchera and mariachi roots.

Doors open at 7 p.m., the show starts at 8 p.m. March 31 at the arena, 1001 Truxtun Ave.

Tickets, which range from $40 to $215, go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday at AXS.com. VIP packages, which may include premium tickets, access to a backstage tour, on-stage photo, access to soundcheck, exclusive VIP gift item and more will also be available starting Friday.
