Peoria entertainment business is moving to Landmark Recreation Center

Speculation that Gone Social was leaving Peoria's Warehouse District for Landmark Recreation Center was confirmed Thursday in a social media post by Gone Social.

Gone Social said it hopes to open in Landmark Recreation Center by July 10.

Speculation was circulating on social media last week that Gone Social was moving to Landmark Recreation Center, amid news of the sudden departure of restaurant Highly Flavored from Landmark. The restaurant's owners say they were given one-day notice to leave the location.

Gone Social rebranded itself last year after operating under multiple names since opening in 2017 in Peoria's Warehouse District.

Owners Matt and Sara Ruder undertook extensive renovations to their location in the Warehouse District in their seven years of operation there, literally tearing down walls and building news ones for their ax throwing, rage rooms, escape rooms, arcade area and bar.

Landmark is home to multiple businesses, including a bowling alley, e-sports complex and fitness center.
