The proletariat has spoken.
The 48th annual People’s Choice Awards were handed out Tuesday night during a live ceremony from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. Heading into the Kenan Thompson-hosted simulcast, which aired on NBC and E!, NBC’s This Is Us led the TV pack with six nominations for its farewell run. Other multi-nominated series included ABC’s Abbott Elementary and Grey’s Anatomy, NBC’s Law & Order: SVU and Saturday Night Live, and Netflix’s Stranger Things — all with four nods apiece.

In addition to Abbott Elementary, first-time contenders included The Bear, Bel-Air, House of the Dragon, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and Severance. So, which series reigned supreme?
Stranger Things walked away with three awards, including The Show of 2022, and Grey’s won two: Drama Show and Female TV Star for Ellen Pompeo. But other shows earned kudos as well… including a few pleasant surprises.
