People Are Absolutely Losing It Over This FBI Taylor Swift Tweet, Like How Is This Even Real?!
- Oops!Something went wrong.Please try again later.
Last week, Taylor Swift released her latest re-recorded album: Speak Now.
If you're not familiar with what she's been doing, Taylor re-records her albums and calls each song "Taylor's version."
And now the FBI is getting in on the hype with this tweet featuring their own Speak Now version...
Justice is better than revenge. You may not be Superman, but you can help the #FBI protect the country. If you have information about a federal crime, speak now. Call 1-800-225-5324 or visit https://t.co/t8G7LO4hxu to submit a tip. pic.twitter.com/kn9QhlNhGx

As you can see, their tracklist is a little different...
People immediately pointed out just how weird and cringey this was.
you may be cringe, but know that you will never, ever be as cringe as the United States federal government. https://t.co/8xzfTgotsi

It just doesn't make sense, like calling each "song" "FBI version" essentially makes it seem like they're the ones committing the crime.
cackling at how (FBI’s Version) is insinuating it’s the US government committing all these crimes https://t.co/obLeZ6q6cY

"They really wrote 'FBI’s version' next to all the crimes the FBI has committed over the years," this person said.
