PEOPLE to Celebrate Its 50th Anniversary with 90s Con Afterparty Featuring 98 Degrees Stars

PEOPLE will also be hosting a special panel featuring Academy Award winning actresses Geena Davis, Susan Sarandon, and Mira Sorvino

Grab your tamagotchis, scrunchies and bomber jackets because PEOPLE is bringing all the rage to 90s Con.

In partnership with That's4Entertainment, PEOPLE will host the official 90s Con afterparty on Saturday, March 16, in Hartford, Connecticut.

The party, which is part of PEOPLE's 50th anniversary celebration, commemorates the iconic decade and will feature musical performances by Disney legend Jodi Benson and 98 Degrees' Jeff Timmons and Drew Lachey. The evening will also be topped off with a karaoke contest and celebrity judges and prizes — as well as jams by Rockstar DJ Tre.

In addition to the afterparty, PEOPLE will host the “And the Award Goes To…” panel the following day at 11 a.m. ET. The panel, moderated by PEOPLE's Editor in Chief Wendy Naugle, will include Geena Davis, Susan Sarandon and Mira Sorvino. Other panels throughout the weekend will be moderated by PEOPLE editors Breanne L. Heldman and Dory Jackson.

“The 90s were a transformational decade in film, music, television and culture,” added Naugle. “As we celebrate our 50th year, PEOPLE is thrilled to partner with 90s Con to revisit some of those decade-defining moments and catch up with our favorite stars.”

90s Con will take place March 15-17 at the Connecticut Convention Center. The convention will offer guests the opportunity to meet attending talent, participate in solo and cast photo ops, obtain autographs and selfies as well as attend panels.

This year, the convention will bring together castmates from fan-favorite shows like 7th Heaven, Boy Meets World, Dawson’s Creek, Hey Dude, Full House, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Step by Step and Thelma & Louise.

Last year's 90s Con in September, which was held in Tampa, Florida, saw reunions from shows like Full House, Boy Meets World and Family Matters. Meanwhile, in March of last year, 90s Con brought together castmates from shows like 90210 and Full House.
