Selena Gomez’s latest Instagram post is so fiery, it doesn’t need a caption. Dressed in an LBD and rocking a fabulous cat-eye look, Gomez is living her best life in the two photos she posted Saturday night.

Despite being the most-followed celebrity on Instagram, Gomez doesn’t post on her account all that often. Before sharing the recent pictures, Gomez’s three most recent Instagram posts included a lengthy caption that seemed to criticize her recent interview with Elle for the magazine’s October issue.
In the Elle article, Mickey Rapkin wrote that Gomez played for him a new song that included lyrics about getting a man “out of my head” after “1,460 days.” Naturally, people assumed the as-yet-unrevealed song was inspired by her ex Justin Bieber.
Bieber, of course, is engaged to model Hailey Baldwin. Gomez, as far as fans know, isn’t dating anyone right now. But based on these new photos, it looks like she’s doing just fine on her own.
Plenty of fans, as well as fellow celebrities, chimed in with comments about how great Gomez looks in the new pictures. “Oh ok!” comedian Amy Schumer wrote. Singer-songwriter Julia Michaels was more explicit, writing, “F*** me upppppp.” YouTube makeup artist James Charles wrote, “Wow sister you look so beautiful.” And DJ Snake left three wind emojis in his comment.
Meanwhile, a comment from YouTube star George Janko has more than 18,000 likes, and it’s not hard to see why. “This caption should say ‘Justin who?’” Janko wrote on Gomez’s post. Another fan left a similar comment, writing, “This caption should say ‘I don’t know Justin.’”
Other fans also left comments mentioning Bieber. “Cry baby @justinbieber,” one person wrote. “How did Justin let that go,” another person commented.
Based on Gomez’s expression in the photo, though, it looks like Bieber is the last person on her mind. Whatever the inspiration was for her upcoming song, Gomez is clearly doing more than all right.
Back in July, Gomez’s first Instagram post after Bieber’s engagement announcement featured her modeling some Puma gear. The “It Ain’t Me” singer reportedly earned more than $30 million from the Puma deal. So her ex’s personal life probably isn’t a top priority for her these days.
As Gomez mentioned in her other Instagram post, she’s staying busy these days with charity work and her new music. She has a ton going for her right now, and none of it has anything to do with a certain ex.
