Penélope Cruz Stars in Residente's Dreamy "313" Music Video — Watch!

"313" will be featured on the Puerto Rican star's forthcoming album, set for release on Thursday

Penélope Cruz is an ethereal — yet controlling — being in Residente's newest music video.

On Tuesday, Puerto Rican rapper and singer Residente, 45, released a cinematic music video to his song "313" — and cast Cruz as his leading lady.

The music video, which represents the connection between life, living beings and time, opens with a monologue in Spanish by Cruz, 49, as several female dancers are frozen in time.

The six-minute video was shot in scenic garden and the Spanish actress, according to a press release, represents life itself. Meanwhile, Residente (born René Pérez Joglar) is a living being and the dancers represent time.

At one point, the dancers take away Residente's voice and pass it to Cruz. She's then able to narrate with his voice and controls his movements. At the same time, the dancers, with masks on, break into dance.

In the end, both Cruz and Residente turn into dust that disappears into thin air.

"313" will be featured on Residente's upcoming album La Letras Ya No Importan, which is set for release on Thursday. It will follow his 2017 self-titled debut album.

Earlier this year, the former Calle 13 member starred as the lead role in in Alessandra Lacorazza’s indie film In the Summers, which took home the grand jury prize at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

Meanwhile, Cruz recently starred as Enzo Ferrari’s wife Laura in Michael Mann’s Ferrari. Speaking to ELLE  about her role in January, the actress said portraying Laura alongside Adam Driver’s Enzo required reflecting the grieving mother’s “sorrow” in every detail — even clothing.

“Every day is a question of how she makes it through the day,” Cruz said of Laura, whose only son, Dino, died off-screen in the Michael Mann film. “She has this tragedy that she will never recover from, and it’s also what made their marriage break because they both feel they failed to save him.”

As the first person to portray the co-owner of Ferrari onscreen, she said she felt pressure as she was “giving her a voice for the first time.”

In Ferrari, the famed Italian car manufacturer is “in crisis” and so is Laura and Enzo’s marriage, per the film’s official synopsis.
