PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Major talents will descend on Portland as the city prepares for the summer concert season.

Here is a look at some of the top musicians who will perform at nearby venues through May.

Asking Alexandria – All My Friends North American Tour 2024

When: Friday, May 10 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: McMenamins Crystal Ballroom, 1332 W Burnside St, Portland, OR 97209

Just months after the last founding member departed the group, Asking Alexandria began touring in support of its “Where Do We Go From Here?” album. The English rock band was first formed in 2006.

Pearl Jam – Dark Matter World Tour 2024

When: Friday, May 10 at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Moda Center, 1 N Center Ct St, Portland, OR 97227

Hailing from Seattle, Pearl Jam will be performing their first Portland concert in over a decade. The band’s “Dark Matter” just broke a record as its 13th release to land in the top 10 of Billboard’s album charts.

Bryson Tiller – The Bryson Tiller Tour

When: Saturday, May 11 at 8 p.m.
Where: Alaska Airlines’ Theater of the Clouds, 1016-1098 N Center Ct St, Portland, OR 97227

Although Bryson Tiller completed a tour just last year, he has returned to the stage with new tunes from his self-titled album. Fans will be excited to hear a live performance of the R&B artist’s latest hit “Whatever She Wants.”

Jesse McCartney – All’s Well Tour

When: Saturday, May 11 at 8:30 p.m.

Jesse McCartney is back in the music industry with the recent release of his “All’s Well” EP. “Beautiful Soul” and “Leavin’” are among the actor and singer’s most popular tracks.

Lizzy McAlpine – The Older Tour

When: Monday, May 13 at 8 p.m.
Where: Alaska Airlines’ Theater of the Clouds, 1016-1098 N Center Ct St, Portland, OR 97227

Philadelphia-born Lizzy McAlpine shared her third studio album “Older” in April, and the best tracks are already being performed for live audiences. Critics have praised McAlpine for the “visual, scene-driven songwriting” on her new record.

Teezo Touchdown – Spend The Night Tour

When: Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m.
Where: Hawthorne Theatre, 1507 SE 39th Ave, Portland, OR 97214

Collaborating with major artists like Doja Cat and Drake, Teezo Touchdown has already had a breakout year. The rapper’s first headlining tour will feature songs from his debut album “How Do You Sleep at Night?”

Two Door Cinema Club – 2024 Tour

When: Tuesday, May 21 at 8 p.m.
Where: McMenamins Crystal Ballroom, 1332 W Burnside St, Portland, OR 97209

Best known for 2010 songs “What You Know” and “Undercover Martyn,” Two Door Cinema Club has planned a stop in the Rose City. The indie group hasn’t released an album since 2022, but will embark on the biggest U.S. tour of its career.
